The Avatar Build.

The AI-Powered Virtual Betting Ambassador, built on a compressed schedule: MVP live in-season, then two fast follow-on phases so the full platform — Phase 3 — is complete by the NFL playoffs in January '27.* Not a slideware demo: a working avatar with voice, lip-sync, live sports data, education, bet tracking, and a sportsbook handoff.

The one-page version.

Biz4Group builds the Virtual Betting Ambassador itself — the AI-driven avatar experience. The surrounding data, growth, compliance and monetization layer is built alongside it. All deliverables are owned by O/U+. This page covers the build scope for the ambassador.

Sport — a fixed MVP boundary
Jan '27
Phase 3 complete — the NFL playoffs
The recommendation: a lean, avatar-inclusive MVP first — one combined release with full lip-sync and voice, scoped to a single sport — then two compressed follow-on phases that land the full platform inside the same season, before the playoffs.
Avatar-mandatory
The MVP includes a fully functioning AI avatar with voice and lip-sync. A text-only or voice-only release is not a complete MVP deliverable.
80/20 depth
Each feature is scoped to its simplest functional version that still demonstrates the intended capability.
Single-sport focus
One sport, not multi-sport coverage. The boundary is fixed at kickoff; additional sports move to the Enhanced Tier.

Two tracks. One timeline. A platform O/U+ owns.

The overall engagement runs two coordinated tracks on a single schedule. This document defines the Biz4Group half — the ambassador itself.

Biz4Group — this proposal

Builds the Virtual Betting Ambassador

The AI-driven avatar experience: conversational engine, education content, bet tracking, live sports data, the voice layer, and the animated avatar with lip-sync — delivered as one integrated release rather than three sequential ones.

The surrounding layer

Builds the data, growth & compliance layer

The unified data warehouse, attribution, lifecycle and monetization — plus the detailed compliance requirements (age-gating, geo-restriction, responsible-gaming controls), which sit outside the Biz4Group MVP scope.

Why it's built this way

The MVP's architecture and data model are built to carry forward into the Enhanced and Advanced tiers without a rebuild — and the data-sharing interface is designed to connect cleanly into the O/U+ data and CRM layer, so every track reaches an aligned checkpoint at MVP completion rather than working separately.

What's in — and what's deliberately out.

The MVP boundary is explicit on both sides. Everything excluded below is deferred to the Enhanced or Advanced tier, not dropped.

Included in the MVP
  • AI conversational engine for sports-betting education (single sport)
  • Basic betting-level vetting scenarios
  • Live sports data integration for the selected sport
  • Manual bet tracking and basic bet history view
  • Voice interaction layer — speech input and output
  • Fully animated AI avatar with lip-sync and visual expression
  • QR-code entry and basic user registration
  • Affiliate link to sportsbook signup
  • Basic internal dashboard for usage visibility
Excluded or deferred
  • Multi-sport coverage
  • Full personalized insights and predictive analytics
  • Subscription tier system
  • Full venue or stadium engagement SDK

Scans a QR code to access the platform.
02
Registers and selects an avatar persona.
03
Talks with the AI avatar by voice, face to face.
04
Gets education content and completes vetting scenarios.
05
Logs placed bets, viewable in a bet history log.
06
Is handed off to a sportsbook via affiliate link.

Three phases, one season.

The platform grows across three tiers — and on the compressed schedule all three ship inside a single NFL season. The MVP is Phase 1; Phase 3 is the full platform vision, complete by the January playoffs.

How it's built.

A mobile-first client, an avatar interaction layer that fuses voice with lip-sync in real time, and three functional modules underneath it — with a defined interface out to the O/U+ data layer.

Client layer
Mobile-first web interface — registration, avatar persona selection, conversation, bet tracking.
↓
Avatar interaction layer
Combines voice output with lip-sync animation so the avatar speaks and visually responds in real time.
↓
Conversational AI / Q&A engine
Processes questions and generates sports-betting education responses for the selected sport.
Bet tracking & vetting module
Manual bet entry, bet history display, and basic vetting scenario logic.
Sports data feed
Live data for the selected sport, feeding the conversational engine and member-facing content.
↓
Application database
Member profiles, bet history and content library.
↓
O/U+ data / CRM interface
Aggregate and summary-level data passes to the O/U+ data and CRM layer on a defined schedule for attribution and growth — this interface does not expose raw user-level conversation data.

Security & data protection

Profile information and bet history are stored securely in the application database, reachable only by authorized platform components. Data passed to the O/U+ data and CRM layer is limited to non-sensitive, summary-level information defined in the interface. Dashboard and usage data access is restricted to authorized personnel, and voice data is handled only through the designated processing layer. Age-gating, geo-restriction and responsible-gaming controls sit in the surrounding compliance layer, not this MVP deliverable.

Phase 1 — six milestones, each one signed off.

The MVP ships as a single combined build phase — chat, voice and avatar developed and delivered together — across six milestones. Each milestone requires sign-off before the next begins.

Phase 1 runs 8–9 weeks on the compressed schedule — the milestone durations above overlap where they safely can. Estimates are based on a high-level understanding of requirements; actual effort may vary once detailed specifications are finalized. Third-party services — cloud infrastructure, AI model hosting and platform APIs — are scoped separately.

How the squeeze is achieved — not by cutting scope, but by overlapping it: Phase 2 discovery and design run in parallel with Phase 1 QA (M4), and Phase 3 architecture is locked during Phase 2 build. Each phase still ends in a formal sign-off; what compresses is the dead time between them. Single-sport remains the fixed Phase 1 boundary — the second sport arrives in Phase 2, full multi-sport in Phase 3.
* Dates assume a kickoff in late August '26 and all client dependencies (hosting, sports-data credentials, affiliate details, brand inputs) landing on schedule. Sequencing is subject to the actual start date — the playoff anchor moves with it.
Alignment with the wider build plan

These milestones are built to land on the foundation-stage gate of the wider O/U+ build plan, so the MVP delivery and the data/growth track reach an aligned checkpoint at the same moment. Cadence: weekly progress meetings, a shared channel for day-to-day coordination, and milestone-based review and sign-off.

What O/U+ has to bring.

The timeline holds only if these arrive on schedule. Each is confirmed with a specific date at kickoff and tied to the milestone that needs it.

Cloud hosting & compute
A client-owned cloud environment (AWS, Azure or GCP) to host the backend, database and avatar rendering services.
Needed by M1
Sports data feed access
Active account and API credentials for a third-party sports data provider, scoped to the single MVP sport.
Needed by M2
Sportsbook affiliate details
The affiliate link, tracking parameters and any credentials needed to route members into sportsbook signup.
Needed by M2
Executive sponsor
A named sponsor to review and approve deliverables at the end of each milestone — sign-off gates the next one.
Every milestone
Brand assets & content
Brand guidelines, avatar persona direction (tone, mannerisms, visual style) and any existing educational content to fold in.
Needed by M1
Timely feedback
Participation in weekly progress meetings and the shared channel, so open questions don't roll into the next milestone.
Ongoing

Where it could go wrong — and what catches it.

The risks were named up front with a mitigation attached to a specific milestone, not a general assurance.

RiskImpactMitigation
Third-party avatar platform capabilityM3 timeline or cost could shift if the platform behaves differently than expected.Core functionality is tested at the start of M1, before the full avatar feature is built on top of it.
Voice and lip-sync synchronizationIf timing drifts, speech and mouth movement feel disconnected and the conversation quality drops.A dedicated tuning pass inside M3 for voice-to-avatar timing, ahead of QA.
Three external systems must work togetherA limitation in the sports feed, avatar platform or speech service affects the combined build in M2–M3.Each system is integrated and tested individually first, then combined — not connected all at once.
Compressed schedule to the playoffsPhases are sequential and the January anchor is fixed, so a delay in one compresses the next.Sign-off is a hard checkpoint, slippage is flagged in the weekly meeting the same week it happens, and Phase 2/3 prep runs in parallel to protect the date.
One combined releaseUsability issues may surface late instead of in an earlier, smaller release.Full end-to-end testing in M4 covering the entire journey before deployment.
Client dependency timingA late dependency delays the milestone that needs it — most directly M1 and M2.All dependencies are confirmed with specific dates at kickoff (M0), each tied to its milestone.
Shared data formatA mismatch would make reporting on this data inaccurate or incomplete downstream. The format is finalized jointly before M3 starts, when the sharing logic gets built.
Single-sport scopeIf expectations shift toward more sports mid-build, timeline and cost move.Single-sport is a fixed boundary once confirmed at kickoff; more sports are Enhanced Tier.

Why this build partner.

Conversational AI experience
Biz4Group has built LLM-based Q&A engines and conversational systems like the one this platform needs — that experience carries directly into how the education content and conversation logic are structured.
Voice and avatar as one pipeline
Speech-to-text, text-to-speech and avatar rendering have to work as a single real-time system. They're built as one integrated pipeline from the start, not connected at the end.
Fixed milestones, clear deliverables
Every milestone has a defined scope and deliverable list. Progress is visible at every stage, and each milestone requires sign-off before the next begins.
Built for the compressed window
Single sport, lean feature set, one combined release — scoped specifically for the 8–10 week delivery window, not trimmed down from a longer standard rollout.
Coordinated with the data layer
The data-sharing interface is designed to connect cleanly with the O/U+ data and CRM layer, so every track stays aligned at each milestone.
Architecture that extends
The MVP's architecture and data model carry forward into the Enhanced and Advanced tiers without a rebuild.
